BRIKA.com, in conjunction with the Bill, Hillary, & Chelsea Clinton Foundation, is pleased to announce a new partnership aimed to raise awareness and funds to stop the international elephant poaching crisis, fueled by the illegal ivory trade. In just three years, 20 percent of the native population of African elephants has been killed for their tusks,
that’s 96 elephants a day.
BRIKA, a curated marketplace featuring high-quality, unique accessories, crafts, and home decor from emerging artisans and designers across North America, has commissioned a limited edition lifestyle line of over 20 elephant-inspired items via a selection of its community of over 400 makers. Support from the sales will be provided to the Wildlife Conservation Society, The Nature Conservancy and Conservation International. The products range from elephant-inspired bracelets to hand-stitched pillows, and each artisan who participated was deeply inspired by the cause. The collection will launch online at brika.com September 15th and will be available through the holidays.
